Great food, amazing beers, reasonable prices and fun atmosphere. Service was quick, friendly and accurate, you can tell everyone takes pride in the brewery.

The beer certainly holds its own, but the true standout are the pretzel bites--hot, piping, and perfectly customizable for those with allergies. The option to skip the butter topping makes them an inclusive treat. The small arcade in the private tasting room adds a fun, nostalgic twist, making it a great spot for a laid-back evening with friends. The service was top-notch, with friendly bartender servers adding to the welcoming atmosphere.

Great beers. Always my go too when I come to Mesa to visit. They're always exposing me to something new that I'm going to like.

I met a girlfriend here for the beer and sliders pairing. It was busy when I arrived. I started with Writers Block and then ordered the sliders with the pairings and I liked the chicken tinga elote paired with the vamanos mexican lager and the french onion slider paired with mild o.c.d. english dark mild were my favorites. Then we were getting ready to leave, I over heard someone mention the happy hour which made me look at my tab. I realized that I was charged regular price. I mentioned this to the beertender and she fixed it, but I had to mention it. Unless I'm invited, I will avoid.

We went here for a drink and dinner. I thought the food might be mediocre since the focus is on the beer, but I was really wrong. Both our drinks and food ended up being really good. There are two rooms, one with a bar and booths and two long wooden tables with stools. We sat at the corner table booth, which was kind of private. There are a few places where the booths are worn, but it doesn't really detract. There's a big board with the beers that they have, and there was also a pairing of different kinds of cheeses and beers to go with them. There's a second room where you can see the big beer thingies (lol very technical) behind glass, and classic video games lining the wall. Pretty impressed with some of the games they had, like the original donkey Kong - - The one I played back when I was a teenager! There's also a shelf with board games, another great touch. Our server was a delight. She was cute as a bug's ear and super friendly. She helped me decide on a cocktail, and she steered me right. We ordered two tiki cocktails and a beer, all great. For dinner we had the green chili french dip, the nachos, the San Diego chicken sandwich, and an order of hot wings. The fries are real potatoes--seasoned and kind of soft and absolutely delish. We all really loved our food, and the price is right too! I can see a stopping by here often. Yummy food and drinks, good prices, good service--lots of reasons to return!

Beer Research is THE go to for beer afficionados looking for something special! It's been some time since we last ate there but everything we had was yummy! Everyone cheers when the group agrees to circle the wagons here. It's a cozy location with a bar counter, small outside patio and some indoor seating so there's something for everyone! We definitely recommend giving them a visit so you too can enjoy yourselves at this wonderful little hideaway!

Great beer selection. I enjoyed both IPAs I tried. Do not see as many red IPAs, so that was nice to try and would be ordered again. My cheesesteak was quite tasty and a decent size. The tater tots were very good, although cooked a little too much, with the dry rub they put on them. The meat candy on the nachos should not be called meat candy because of how spicy it was. They cook the bacon in siracha and boy can you tell. Should have went carne asasda and I am sure I would have been happier. I would come back. Nice service.

This is one of my favorite breweries in Mesa. They have a good variety of beers and their food is delicious. I've been really enjoying their Loli Belgian Blonde recently. This pour along with a few others are only $4 on Sundays all day happy hour. I love that they offer an all day weekend happy hour. Not only are their beers good but their food is delicious, I usually go with their chicharrones for appetizers and a burger or their green chile Mac and cheese with meat candy for my entree. Everything I've tried here has been good and very fairly priced in my opinion. It's a super relaxed ambiance and they have a small arcade attached to it. There is plenty of parking. Service is friendly and prompt. Definitely give it a go!

The Beer Research Institute was wonderful. The beer was yummy, I had both the West Coast IPA and Hazy IPA. They were delicious. For food, I had the Cali burger and tater tots. They were both yummy and had generous portions. They make their own hot sauce, and it was so good, I bought some to take home! The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.
